The Solution: If you find that your brows are too light, Madron recommends amping up your natural color with a subtly tinted gel, which “is great for adding color, hold, and covering grays.”

The Solution: Naturally slim arches can be bulked up with a lightweight clear or fiber gel. Be sure to “avoid a heavy texture on fine brows, as they’ll look wet and more sparse,” says Madron.

The Solution: For coarse, curly, or unruly arches that refuse to stay in place, a strong-hold gel is the solution. Madron’s favorite is Maybelline’s Brow Drama Sculpting Brow Mascara, for its “rich, glossy pigment and a strong, smudge-proof hold.”

The Solution: Perhaps your brows are full, but a small, pesky hole—whether due to genetics or a tweezing episode gone awry—remains bare. “Patchy brows can be made to look more even by using a wax/powder combination,” says Madron. A wax-based product, like Glossier’s cult favorite Boy Brow, followed by a tinted powder will give the appearance of a full, uniform set.
