I own more turtleneck sweaters than I’d choose to admit, and yet it’s tough for me to resist the pull of this one by new knitwear label PH5. I really like the slightly curvilinear ribbing—plus at just above $200, I feel as if the cost-per-wear is going to be as good as it gets.

I am perpetually on the hunt for the perfect chunky white turtleneck. It’s my white whale . . . I always love Bella Freud’s cool-girl graphic knits; and I’m long overdue at Nili Lotan, for her latest comfortable spin on the classics. My sweaters are rather drab and tend to dilute whatever I have on under them, but since realistically I am always in them when it’s chilly, especially in our highly air-conditioned office, I’ve decided statement sweaters are the right move. I have my eye on this one from Dries Van Noten.
