The Best Looks From the 2025 BET Awards

Last night, the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles served as the venue for the 2025 BET Awards—the annual awards ceremony honoring Black excellence across all sectors of the entertainment industry, from film to music. This year, the evening was hosted by comedian Kevin Hart, and featured performers including GloRilla, Snoop Dogg, Mariah Carey, and more. Before the big show kicked off, however, the red carpet saw plenty of celebrity action.

While the night celebrated all forms of culture, there was a big emphasis on music—so it was only natural that some of the best dressed on the step and repeat were buzzy performers. Doechii, for one, shined in her red Miu Miu look—complete with a bandeau top, statement belt, and pleated skirt. Ryan Destiny went the slinkier route in her gunmetal-gray Loewe gown, designed with a sculptural bodice and high leg slit. Iconic chanteuse Mariah Carey, meanwhile, accepted her Icon Award in a glittering floor-length ballgown—a signature Mimi look.

The men shined last night, too. Rapper Snoop Dogg looked modern and dapper in his electric-blue coat and matching trousers, while Tyler Perry chose an embellished black Louis Vuitton two-piece. Shaboozey, meanwhile, leaned into his signature western style with a tuxedo with gold trim, and finished it off with a cowboy hat—all designed custom for him by Eleven Sixteen.
