How Cynthia Erivo Got Ready for the Premiere of Harriet

Last night in Los Angeles, It Brit Cynthia Erivo stepped out for the premiere of her latest film, Harriet, in which she plays the abolitionist Harriet Tubman on her quest to lead her enslaved family to freedom via the Underground Railroad.
Before the red carpet got going, the actress prepped with her trusty glam squad at the Soho Warehouse in Downtown L.A. To match her oversized Spring 2020 Marc Jacobs feathered ballgown, makeup artist Terrell Mullin swiped a metallic pinkish shadow over Erivo’s lids and upped the drama with a pair of voluminous false lashes. While the Grammy and Tony winner has played with a bevy of colorful hairstyles, recently trying out a minty shade, last night she opted to keep her buzz cut a bright platinum, courtesy of hairstylist Coree Moreno. And as a final touch, the actress dressed up her ears with simple gold jewelry. Here, an exclusive look at how Erivo got ready for the big premiere.
