“I really like my hair. It changes very easily with different shampoo, so it’s important for me to have a good one that [brings] the color out and makes it look healthy. I use Aesop’s classic shampoo and a Redken conditioner. If it’s really dry, I use jojoba oil on the ends of my hair before I wash it. Most of the time Paul Hanlon cuts my hair. He takes some layers out in some places, which makes it look a little bit more full and alive. Now it’s the longest it’s ever been, but I like it! [As for freckles], only when people say, ‘Oh, I love your freckles,’ I’m reminded [that] I have all these weird spots all over my face! As a kid I had way more freckles; now they’re toning down a little bit. But in summer, if I have one day of sun, you can see such a big difference. They light up, and I really love that.”

“I think mine would be my legs, just because they’re really long. I used to not like that when I was younger, but the more I grew up, the more I realized that it’s something to be proud of. I love coconut oil for my skin, and I always use scrubby gloves to exfoliate, so my skin’s always soft. And at the gym, I do a lot of weight training and squats and things like that. Dead lifts are really good for your legs!”

“My hair! I think that’s my best feature. I had this haircut when I was 14 to 17, and then I started working in Argentina and they told me, ‘Oh, it’s too messy to leave your hair like that. Let’s try it straight.’ And then I didn’t like my hair for two years. Now I’m myself and people really like it, so it’s good. I always wash it at night and let it dry, and then I go to sleep; if I wash it in the morning, it’s a bit fluffy. [Sometimes] I just put a little Moroccanoil at the ends, and that’s it. And I really like my hands! They are so long and different, and I have this little freckle here, which is special. There’s a hand cream by Aesop, in a pale pink [tube]. It’s so nice.”

“Okay, this is going to sound really weird, but I’m very fond of my ankles. They’re very stable, sturdy—well, they’re not actually in real life, but they look like they’re sturdy! That’s why they look really good with, like, a pair of Vans, where you get a little bit of anklebone in there: It’s not like really bringing attention to it, but it’s also not hiding it. I just came from six weeks of summer in Australia. The whole time I was home, I didn’t wear shoes, so [my ankles got] much attention, much loving.”

“My lips—people love the pink color. They just think it looks healthy. [I wear] lip balm every day to keep them moisturized, because New York is really dry and it’s so easy to weaken the skin. I love La Mer’s lip balm. It’s really rich but not that oily, so it’s quite good. And, yeah, sometimes when I go out with my friends, I’ll wear red lipstick—it’s so hard to choose [a favorite]!”
