The Aesthetic: “My collection is based on traditional design and style, but I give [it] a new twist.”
Signature Fabrications: “I like traditional fabrics, such as wool, silk, and cotton, more than high-tech fabrics. I add value to traditional material by adding embroideries, quilting, et cetera.”
The Customer: “My fashion is unisex—anyone can wear my designs.”

The Aesthetic: “Extremely masculine in an ironic way. It’s about the boundaries of menswear, how everything is limited, and about always questioning how and what men would wear with those pieces. It’s a sense of design with that awkwardness—familiar but slightly odd.”
Signature Fabrications: “I’m interested in fabrics that seem ordinary and fabrics used in sportswear—to create that sense of masculinity, boyishness.”
The Customer: “I see the main character in the film Boyhood played by Ellar Coltrane as the man I design for. The lightness, vibe, and depth of the character [are] the emotions that I try to convey in my clothes.”

The Aesthetic: “Very masculine; it is kind of mended workwear. It is very impulsive, the way I create the silhouettes.”
Signature Fabrications: “Denim.”
The Customer: “An effortless person, someone who just throws something on and looks cool instantly.”

The Aesthetic: “Sexy and very feminine, different compared with the bigger silhouettes you can see today. It’s about being body-conscious, about bold colors for the confident woman, [and] detailed pieces—the closer you get, the more details you see.”
Signature Fabrications: “I love knits and all the ways you can experiment with [them]. A lot of embroidery, beads, and embellishments, and a lot of depth in the pieces.”
The Customer: “It’s for the confident woman, someone with a strong character—not for the shy.”

The Aesthetic: “Asian sensuality, expressed in a romantic way—about expressing your senses and emotions. I want to make you feel like you are in a sensual world—for example, a Ryan McGinley photo or in a painting by Monet.”
Signature Fabrications: “Fancy yarns.”
The Customer: “A guy who believes in the beauty of being young and boyish, someone who loves to be cute and adorable—boyish being key.”
