With her baby face and artsy chest tattoo, Amelia Rose Akerhielm is a gorgeous contradiction. A Slimane exclusive since the Spring 2016 menswear show in Paris, Akerhielm quickly became part of Slimane’s group of recurring players, and has appeared in every show since. Discovered by Jeff and Mary Clarke, the scouts who found Karlie Kloss and Grace Hartzel, Akerhielm could be the next all-American model to go the distance.

Amba Baker’s strong brows and steely gaze give her a tough-girl appeal, but the tattooed beauty is versatile enough to pull off Slimane’s tiaras as well as his suiting.

Budapest-bred Kamilla Kerekes is a budding artist with a passion for Gustav Klimt and Egon Schiele, but when she isn’t traveling and taking in museums, Kerekes is walking for Slimane season after season. First appearing at Saint Laurent during the Fall 2015 show, Kerekes’s stark look struck a chord with Slimane, who tapped her for three shows in a row.

A drama student living in Melbourne, Shorten entered a modeling contest back in 2013 on a whim and wound up winning. A natural-born entertainer, Shorten’s Instagram is a delight, featuring her love of cosplaying, alternative theater, and wonderfully weird mini films.

Sometimes a model is embraced by all of fashion’s It labels, and Polish newcomer Zu Czemier is one such girl. Landing an exclusive for Saint Laurent, space in Vetements’s latest lookbook, and work with Vivienne Westwood all in the space of a year, the septum-pierced Czemier is a rising star with a cool cachet. (She’s also a talented illustrator, sharing her pen- and-ink sketches via Instagram.)
