Images of the Week: Congratulations, Kylie Jenner!
On Friday, multiple outlets reported that Kylie Jenner is expecting her second child with Travis Scott. The reality TV star and rapper are already parents to three-year-old Stormi Webster, and famously kept that pregnancy under wraps until the child was born. Congratulations to the happy couple!
We are also celebrating the life of American artist Chuck Close, best known for large-scale, photorealistic portraits. The painter died at the age of 81 on August 19.
In the world of pop culture, this week we got our first look at Elizabeth Debicki as Princess Diana in season five of The Crown. She will play opposite Dominic West’s Prince Charles in the much-loved series. Lorde also released her album Solar Power on Friday, and went blonde in the music video for the song “Mood Ring.”
The world s attention, however, was mostly focused on the humanitarian crisis in Afghanistan, with the Taliban taking control of Kabul and declaring the country the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan.
