Lacoste Threw a 90th Anniversary Rooftop Party With Venus Williams, Irina Shayk, and More

It was all about the green crocodile logo Saturday night at Lower East Side hotspot Nine Orchard.
Against the backdrop of New York Fashion Week and the US Open, Lacoste took over the hotel s greenhouse rooftop for a 90th-anniversary celebration, where guests took a breather from a long day of shows (and a thrilling women s singles final) to take in the city views and mingle over cocktails.
The Paris-meets-New York party also acted as an unveiling for creative design director Pelagia Kolotouros s new vision for the heritage brand, which she joined in February. Her pieces were worn by Lacoste ambassadors Venus Williams, Irina Shayk, Dev Hynes, and more.
"I really love the classic element of the brand," Hynes, an avid tennis player himself, tells Vogue. "I think the best-dressed players on the men s tour wear Lacoste." (Among his most treasured Lacoste pieces is a blue Novak Djokovic zip-up jacket he got two years ago.)
Williams, whose opening pre-match outfit for the US Open went viral last week, wore a black Lacoste jumpsuit with white trim and see-through details. Earlier that day, she hosted a block party in the Bronx with Kolotouros to celebrate two tennis courts they renovated in collaboration with the City of New York and the City Parks Association.
Shayk opted for a sporty, oversized white blazer and white Lacoste heels and socks, while Emily Ratajkowski posed against the crocodile in a tennis-inspired polo and skirt set.
Other guests and VIPs included Emily Ratajkowski, Brandon Flynn, Joey Bada$$, Indira Scott, Florence Huntington-Whiteley, fencers Ysaora Thibus and Race Imboden, Collier Schorr, Dede Lovelace, Alina Timo, and Jacquelyn Jablonski.
