Lately I’ve been dreaming about printed dresses. Chalk it up to the Balenciaga effect or the fact that I sit near Vogue.com’s Fashion News Director Chioma Nnadi—nobody wears a frock better. My dream scenario would be to scoop up five or so and wear them on repeat all season long.

I’m definitely planning to get a lot of mileage out of my summer dresses. I have a lime green Proenza Schouler dress that I’d like to layer over these mesh tanks I picked up in Jamaica, and I have some vintage ’30s silk dresses I’m planning to wear with light jackets. I have my eye on this distressed denim jacket by Feelings by Alex, a new label from Los Angeles—it will toughen up some of that prettiness. My dream, though, would be to snag a Grace Wales Bonner jacket to wear at fancier Fashion Week events.

I just got a scooter (no, not a Vespa, an actual kick scooter!), and I plan on scooting to as many downtown shows as possible. I just picked up a new Balenciaga denim jacket, which I know seems strange for the hot weather, but the balance of hot outside/cool inside is hard to manage, so I anticipate bringing it with me everywhere. The rest of my uniform will stay the same, and I’ll throw my Loewe bag over the handlebars.
