The vibrant hue packs a bit more punch than, say, a traditional navy shade, yet it still has the ability to seamlessly mix and match with other items in your closet. After a two-year hiatus, Christopher John Rogers made a glorious return to the runway in June, dressing Karlie Kloss in Pacific Ocean blue pieces from head to toe. The opening look—which included a dreamy coat, a chunky turtleneck, and pumps—wasn’t the only outfit that featured the on-trend color. The shade made waves (pun totally intended) throughout the smile-inducing resort 2023 collection, from oversized sweaters to party-ready dresses.
The jolting blue tone also gave classic suits an upgrade at Christian Siriano’s fall show and transformed cool cargos in Dion Lee’s fall collection.
