Pandora Dazzled With a Pre New York Fashion Week Party

New York Fashion Week is typically glitzy and glamourous, but there was extra sparkle in the city last night as Pandora celebrated its new store opening in Manhattan’s Astor Place neighborhood, dubbed the Lab-Grown Diamond District as a nod to Midtown’s famed quarter.
Dripping in diamonds (and sweat, thanks to the 90-degree weather), Fashion Week–goers rolled through a pink and bustling Astor Place to party with Pamela Anderson, Halle Bailey, Ashley Park, Evan Mock, and Precious Lee.
“I love the fact that Pandora is taking the initiative to prioritize sustainability without compromising the integrity and brilliance of the diamond,” said Lee, one of the faces of Pandora’s new campaign. “It’s really cool they are reminding people that every day is extraordinary. Every day is fab, and every day deserves a diamond. Diamonds don’t need to RSVP.”
Barbie Ferreira suggested the single-diamond necklace. “It’s very chic and hot, and I’m really in my chic, sophisticated era,” she said.
In between sipping on Radiant Fizz and Etched Legacy cocktails, attendees admired the new collection and contemplated just how many diamond necklaces are too many to stack at once. The new collection features lab-grown diamonds set in dainty yet classic designs, perfect for New York Fashion Week and everyday wear—or even gardening! “I like my earrings. I’m not going to take them off,” Anderson said. “These are good. They can work in the garden, where I am all the time these days.”
It seems nothing makes you forget about New York City humidity quite like the sparkle of a diamond or the joy of a live performance, and guests proved that last night as they gathered in front of the Pandora stage to enjoy a performance from Caroline Polachek. She finished with her hit song “So Hot You’re Hurting My Feelings”—a perfect ode to the sweaty New York City night.
