New career: Hosting
Even before she hung up her Angel wings, Klum’s hosting skills made her one of fashion’s most prominent personalities. In her post-Angel career, Klum has continued to showcase her engaging personality on such shows as America’s Got Talent and Project Runway, the latter of which won an Emmy in 2013.

New career: Acting
On the hit show Outlander, Balfe plays Claire Fraser, World War II nurse turned time traveler, but long before she made her way to the Highlands, Balfe was an international model appearing in ads for brands such as Dolce Gabbana and on the Victoria’s Secret runway back in 2002. Though she admits that taking part in the VS show was a surreal experience, she credits her time modeling with giving her a chance to see the world.

New career: Beauty Entrepreneur
In 2001 Heming Willis joined supermodels like Eva Herzigova and Tyra Banks to walk Victoria’s Secret. Many models garner beauty expertise during their fashion careers, and Heming Willis used hers to create CocoBaba, a line of vegan skin-care products for new mothers and mothers-to-be. Still stepping in front of the camera on occasion, Heming Willis now balances being a businesswoman with occasional appearances in the films of her husband, actor Bruce Willis.

New career: Photography and Directing
Creativity doesn’t need to be confined to one medium, and for Rasmussen, a post-modeling career is one that combines art forms. Walking for Victoria’s Secret in 2001 as part of a modeling career that included stints as the face of Gucci and walking Chanel, Rasmussen would later focus on making art. As a filmmaker and photographer, she now shoots for many of the same magazines she appeared in during her modeling days.

New career: Real Estate
As one of the biggest modeling success stories of the ’90s, Goff has done just about every cover, campaign, and show imaginable. She walked for Victoria’s Secret three times between 1999 and 2001 and brought a high-fashion sensibility to the show. Though she still models for iconic photographers like Arthur Elgort and Patrick Demarchelier, Goff is now established as a successful real estate agent. She has channeled her love of buying and selling—she purchased her first place at 19—into a lucrative career, and her expertise in the Manhattan luxury market has brought her renown.
