The Best Street Style at Seoul Fashion Week Fall 2021

The fall 2021 season just wrapped up in Seoul, where locals attended a few IRL presentations between dozens of mostly virtual shows. Our photographer Nam Huynh was there to cover the best street style looks around the city. Some of the local trends feel familiar, like the lug-sole boots and deconstructed suits we saw elsewhere in Asia and Europe earlier this year. The bigger surprise might actually be the prevalence of head-to-toe black. Maybe the weather has something to do with it—several people were photographed with umbrellas—but either way the darker, pared-back look is a sleek pivot after years of bright colors and experimentation.
