While the runways have been awash with the bright colors and tropical prints we can look forward to come spring, the look this fall has been notably more streamlined and subdued with the best-dressed women opting for elegant blacks, whites, grays, and pastels. Basic, yes, but boring? Never. In fact, these elegant pieces are, perhaps, just the post-summer palate cleanser we needed to transition into a brand-new season.
