At the Brooklyn Navy Yard last night, the designer presented his resort 2024 collection to a crowd that included Teyana Taylor, Quinta Brunson, Ashley Graham, Aquaria, and many more—most donning his signature rainbow creations, as is business as usual chez CJR. The event was one in a weekend full of parties, cocktails, and openings, all looking to capitalize on the Met Gala tomorrow, but as a guest said as we waited for the show to start, “even in the rain, this is the one you couldn t miss.” You’ve seen the models strut down the runway, now here’s a closer look at the collection backstage, as photographed by Hunter Abrams.
