The statement necklace is back, ladies—We hear you: Did it ever really go away? But, this time around, it’s less fancy (long gone are the diamonds and pearls), and it’s a little more homespun and artisinal, crafted out of mixed metals and earthy hues. Another change? It’s more of a chameleon: It can be worn as easily with jeans and a T-shirt as it can with a cocktail dress. This look is also, for you forward thinkers out there (like Miroslava Duma pictured here on Le 21ème Arrondissement), a great investment for the fall season. Summer is traditionally a time that makes one go light on the jewelry, but when September rolls around, these face-framing items are going to be all the rage—and we can’t think of anything better than picking from this crop of baubles complimentery pieces.
