This summer I am most interested in a bare, delicate, and glistening foot. These Miu Mius may look made for a party in a picture, but the heel is super comfortable (yes, it is bike-able), the silver straps are both slim and sturdy, and I think the sparkly heel will make office life just a little more amusing. Because flat sandals aren’t always an option, I’ve got my eye on this block-heeled style from Gianvito Rossi. I’m fairly convinced they’ll work with everything, from my Lemaire midi-length dress to my Brock Collection cropped jeans.

I’m totally committed to wearing a babouche Moroccan slipper this summer. I saw so many men wearing the style while I was on vacation in Gambia as part of their traditional dress, so once I found out that Acne Studios had a graphic striped pair in their Spring collection, it was a no-brainer for me. I think the simplest shoe is often the best shoe, but especially in summer, when I want everything to be easy. I still think that Maryam Nassir Zadeh makes the perfect summer shoe. I wore my nude pair of Palma sandals incessantly last summer, and probably will this time around, too, but I am really feeling the mule slides (the Penelope and the Sophie, for different heel heights) in season-friendly shades like watermelon and marigold, patent and suede. Comfortable, chic, and they go with everything—what’s easier than that?
