Our Favorite Menswear Looks of Fall 2016 Inline

I couldn’t choose a favorite look from this collection. I chose the first, because I’d like you to go and click through all the others. A great chewed-up chunk of references, from Twin Peaks to Martin Margiela to Cindy Sherman’s Untitled Horrors, all spit up on a giant letterman sweater that looks like something we all may once have owned, but simultaneously like nothing else on earth. I’ve never wanted so much to look like anything in my entire life.”

(See above: That coat! That Christophe Chemin print! That cuff! And don’t get me started on the argyle knit hosiery.) It’s the exact sort of windswept, heavily textured, and faintly bedraggled way I feel this time of year.”

Ditto for the slouchy, wide-leg trousers and cool kicks.”
