If you like Moon Juice, you’ll love Sun Potion: Highlights of the line (which is technically based in Santa Barbara) include Prash, a sticky spread made of biodynamic ghee, raw wildflower honey, and such obscure ingredients as eucommia bark; Anandamide, a hot chocolate alternative, made with heirloom cacao and a series of unpronounceable adaptogens; and the intriguing daily drink ideas on its Instagram (coconut-cashew-pearl-pine-pollen-matcha-tocos potion!) concocted by Citrine, the brand’s creative director. She herself has the whole babe-of-the-canyon thing down pat, too, as evidenced on her own more-than-10,000-followers-strong feed, where the comely health nuts of L.A.’s slow-fashion scene also make frequent appearances.

The woman such healthy-living luminaries as Bacon and Shiva Rose credit for their own spiritual awakenings—and radiant, ageless beauty—is a rising local celebrity in her own right for her Kundalini teachings. When she’s not leading sessions at her Ra Ma Institute in Venice, retreats at its outpost in Mallorca, or Kundalini instructional videos online, she broadcasts uplifting Instagrams to her more than 10,000 followers.

The cofounder of New York’s beloved Yoga for Bad People—a light-hearted, fitness-focused take on the genre—headed West last year. She now teaches the Left Coast version of Taryn Toomey’s cult program The Class in Santa Monica, while also tending to private celebrity clients and crisscrossing the globe to lead Instagram—fantasy yoga retreats (upcoming trips include Cuba, Mexico, Uruguay, Ireland, and Portugal) that combine spirituality with spot-on playlists.

L.A.’s answer to Dimes—the Lower East Side’s perennially packed, design-y health food boîte—is this recently opened, cute-as-a-button Echo Park café, where Carter (a chef and nutritionist) and her business partner Sullivan (the daughter of a chef) serve up salubrious breakfast, lunch, and beverage options under a principle they call “radical inclusivity.” That means that unlike many wellness-minded L.A. eateries, Honey Hi doesn’t restrict its offerings to raw, vegan, paleo, or any other niche. From savory bowls to heritage bone broth to gluten-free sourdough smeared with ayurvedic persimmon jam, the menu will satisfy diet saints and sinners alike. And while the pair offer a green smoothie called No Fomo, their mouth-watering Instagram will inspire plenty of it.

A longtime professional surfer who now runs a lifestyle and accessories brand centered around stylish wetsuits for women, Meador uses her dreamy Instagram (following: nearly 68,000) to promote outdoor exercise and social activism (Standing Rock is her current pet cause). All that, and she hosts frequent sound baths, too.
