The Biggest Hauls in Grammy History: Beyoncé, Kanye West, and Other Record Breakers Inline

Sasha Fierce in 2010, while Adele matched that number in 2012 for her second studio album, 21. With 53 in total, Beyoncé also has the honor of being the female artist with the most nominations in the history of the awards.

Photos: Getty Images3/8Michael Jackson and Carlos Santana are tied for the most Grammy wins ever in a single year. Santana grabbed eight for his comeback album Supernatural in 2000; a feat that had not been accomplished since Jackson won the same number for (what else?) Thriller in 1984.

She was the category’s first winner back when it was created in 1968, and then went on to triumph in that same category eight times in a row. Anita Baker comes in second place, with five Best Female R&B Vocal Performance awards.
