Phoebe Waller-Bridge’s Red-Carpet Style Is a Lesson in Pared-Back Dressing

Phoebe Waller-Bridge—the creator and star of Fleabag and Vogue’s December cover star—has cultivated a red-carpet look that’s all her own. Though she’s only been on the Hollywood circuit for a few years, she has managed to create a signature aesthetic on the step-and-repeat that’s always cohesive no matter the occasion. Her track record has proven that she loves clean, refined designs that have just enough wow factor—whether it’s a suit or a gown. Her look is pared-back dressing at its finest—simple but never boring.

Take some of her most recent ensembles. Who could forget the frothy Monique Lhuillier gown that she wore to this year’s Emmy Awards, where Fleabag swept the evening and won the coveted award for best comedy series? Then there was the red-hot sequin-covered Galvan number that she wore to the 2019 Golden Globes.
