The second edition of Vogue Open Casting resulted in tens of thousands of applications from aspiring models based all around the world—from Chicago to Berlin, Lusaka to Helsinki, and Mumbai to Buenos Aires. Now, as we inch closer to choosing our finalist, Vogue is inviting readers to vote for their favorite of the eight Open Casting semi-finalists on the Vogue app.
These young women, aged 19 to 25, were selected by the 2025 Vogue Open Casting Selection Committee and reflect the global nature of the fashion and modeling industries. Their nationalities range from Mongolian, Chinese, and South Sudanese to Filipino, Senegalese, American, and Swiss, and they hail from Alaska, Georgia, Hawaii, New York, Ontario, Bergamo, Neuchâtel, and Paris. Their tastes and activities outside of modeling, moreover, are as varied as their backgrounds; this year’s semi-finalists include a new mother who loves to surf and hike, a college senior studying criminal justice, an antique and vintage collector, and an avid baker.
The Vogue Open Casting 2025 finalist will appear on a digital cover of Vogue France. She will be chosen by the Selection Committee, which this year features Anna Wintour, Chief Content Officer, Condé Nast, and Global Editorial Director, Vogue; Simon Porte Jacquemus, designer and founder of Jacquemus; Virginia Smith, Global Head of Fashion Network, Condé Nast; Claire Thomson-Jonville, head of editorial content, Vogue France; Ignacio Murillo, Global Talent Casting Director; Osana Ekue, Director, Women Paris; and José Criales-Unzueta, Fashion News Editor, Vogue Runway.
