We’ve officially made it to another Friday—but what to do this weekend, if you’ve already done your midsummer cleaning tasks and don’t particularly enjoy hiking, or any other outdoor activity? Why, tuck into some good TV and movies, of course—and, luckily for you, we’ve rounded up six of the very best offerings out there. Herewith, our top picks for what to watch over the next two days:

Wimbledon finals (July 12 and 13)

Wimbledon is finally wrapping up this weekend, with the Gentlemen’s Doubles Final and
Ladies’ Singles Final taking place on Saturday, July 12, and the Ladies’ Doubles Final and
Gentlemen’s Singles Final to follow on Sunday, July 13. Will Amanda Anisimova become the first American woman to win Wimbledon since Serena did it in 2016? There’s only one way to find out.

How to watch: Catch the finals on ESPN.

Love Island: Beyond The Villa (July 13)

If your thirst for Love Island can’t be quenched by the show itself, worry not; Peacock is releasing a whole series devoted to Season 6 Islanders as they “navigate life outside the villa in Los Angeles.” As a non-Islander trying to navigate life outside the villa in Los Angeles myself, I, for one, am extremely curious to see how they’re readjusting to their real (or real-ish?) lives.

How to watch: Stream on Peacock.

Too Much (July 10)

It seems like nobody can stop chatting about this brand-new Netflix series, from Lena Dunham and her husband, Luis Felber, that’s loosely based on the early days of their relationship. Meg Stalter kills it as Jessica, a New York expat newly arrived in London who falls for Felix, the ultimate manic pixie indie boy (Will Sharpe), and there is no time like the present to catch up on all 10 episodes of the show before you get utterly left behind by the capital-D Discourse.

How to watch: Stream on Netflix.

Dexter: Resurrection (July 11)

I’m always thrilled to see Michael C. Hall on the small screen, whether it’s in a Six Feet Under rerun or this Paramount+ reboot of Dexter that finds the titular character awakening from a coma and setting out for New York in an attempt to find his son Harrison and bury old wounds. Plus, Uma Thurman!

How to watch: Stream on Paramount+.
