The devastation in Morocco after a 6.8 magnitude earthquake hit the High Atlas Mountains on Friday has already resulted in a death toll of over 2,800, with search teams from Spain, Britain, and Qatar joining in local rescue efforts to find survivors.

The quake, which struck not 50 miles southwest of Marrakech and was followed by a 3.9 magnitude aftershock on Sunday, has injured over 2,500 people in the area thus far, in addition to those who were killed or remain missing. Even as government rescue workers make their way into harder-to-access mountain villages that were hard-hit, there is a desperate need for help across the region. Below, find five organizations whose work in Morocco you can support from afar:

The International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies

This international organization is coordinating with the locally run Moroccan Red Crescent to organize search and rescue missions and provide first aid and transport for the injured, and they’re taking donations here.

International Medical Corps

The IMC is working with the World Health Organization (WHO) and other groups to deploy an Advance Emergency Medical Team to provide as much aid as possible to those wounded on the ground. You can donate here to help fund their effort.

Food Bank of Morocco

This nonprofit has been providing those in need in Morocco with food and other forms of assistance since 2002, and right now, they’re rallying efforts to make sure no survivor goes hungry. You can aid in that effort by donating here.

GlobalGiving

Almost $500,000 has been raised so far by this nonprofit in an effort to “meet survivors immediate needs for food, fuel, clean water, medicine, and shelter,” and you can help them hit their goal by donating here.

CARE

This international nonprofit is focused on assisting women and girls, youth, and other disadvantaged groups in Morocco in the wake of Friday s earthquake, and you can aid in their mission by donating here.
