Fall 2025’s hottest beauty trend is all about looking toasted. The look, which extends to both makeup and hair, embraces bronzy and brown shades to give warmth (yes, it’s similar to 2023’s latte makeup). As of tonight Amal Clooney has joined in on the trend at the Clooney Foundation for Justice’s awards program, The Albies. Of course, her go-to glam god, Dimitris Giannetos, was on hand to do it all.

“The inspiration for the makeup look was latte shades. I wanted it to stay within the color palette of the dress,” Giannetos tells Vogue of the look, which used Charlotte Tilbury products like the Airbrush Flawless Foundation and the Hollywood Instant Look in a Palette in Dreamy, Bronzed Beauty. “I always use warm-toned browns for dark eyes because it helps to make them pop. So does a hint of burgundy.”

For Clooney’s famously luscious hair, Giannetos kept it simple and straightforward. “We went a bit darker for fall,” he says, noting that they completed the look “with some Scandinavian-style face-framing pieces, which always helps to keep features soft and sweet.” He used the L’Oréal Paris Elvive Glycolic Serum on her strands before styling—and “a lot of Elnett hairspray”—to get her signature shine and hold for the big night.

Clooney, who styles herself, took the toasted note even further by selecting a chocolate brown off-the-shoulder gown by Versace Atelier by Dario Vitale for the evening. Toasting to social justice in a toasted beauty look—cheers!
