At last night’s 75th Golden Globe Awards, the #TimesUp movement went beyond the red carpet and into the ballroom, where industry icons including Oprah Winfrey got the crowd to its feet in celebration of women’s rights, gender equality, and eliminating discrimination across all industries.
Hollywood’s biggest names—along with a host of esteemed activists—cheered each other on throughout the night. In a balletic look from Dolce Gabbana, Sarah Jessica Parker chatted with Billie Jean King, while Winfrey held court with partner Stedman Graham and friends Gayle King and Ava DuVernay. As host Seth Meyers’s carefully crafted jokes provoked laughter across the audience, Hugh Jackman and Deborra-Lee Furness sipped on the evening’s official champagne, Moët Chandon, while stars including Tom Hanks, Meryl Streep, and Michelle Pfeiffer nibbled on the gluten-free menu composed by chef Alberico Nunziata of the Beverly Hilton.
