Leopard print is a perennial classic—some even consider it a neutral!—but it’s been making a comeback of late. Whether your style is thrift-store bohemian or high-wattage glamour, there’s a new leopard spot for you (see: Dries Van Noten or Dolce Gabbana’s Fall ’16 collections). But a few designers are skipping leopard prints and putting actual leopards—and birds, tigers, dachshunds, and cats—on their designs for a surreal, tongue-in-cheek twist. Gucci’s Alessandro Michele might be the biggest proponent of the quirky trend—who could forget that panther-embellished varsity sweater?—and Marc Jacobs’s swan-printed blouses are already at the top of several Vogue editors’ wish lists. Get them while you can—and shop all of our favorite animal motif dresses, knits, and accessories in the slideshow above.
