The Lady of the House
This is our living room, which is mainly used for entertaining guests. In the middle of the coffee table is this strange glass beaker that I found by typing “weird science experiment” into eBay. We still have no idea what it is, but when I saw it, I had to buy it. I got a lot of pieces as wedding gifts, like beautiful silver vases—I have them all over the house filled with flowers. The skull was a giraffe’s.
After months of taking us inside the apartments of others, Vogue.com’s Lauren Santo Domingo turns the camera on herself. “If there’s one thing you can say about my apartment it s that it’s constantly evolving, constantly changing,” says Santo Domingo of the Flatiron loft she shares with her husband, Andrés Santo Domingo. “I think that is the mark of a good apartment; you can never really be done—It’s like a proper wardrobe. At my house, it might be a small tweak, but you’re never going to see the same thing twice.”
