In Santa Red Latex, It’s a Very Kylie Jenner Christmas

It’s a very merry Kristmas with Kylie Jenner, who stepped out last night in an outfit that brought a very Kylie Jenner spin to dressing for festive party season.

Jenner, who was attending the OBB Media holiday party in West Hollywood, Los Angeles, opted for a skin-tight, Santa-red latex dress with a halterneck and low back. She paired it with clear perspex heels, and stuck to her usual mode of glam: a matching ruby red manicure for her extra-long talons, a taupe lip, and her long brunette hair styled long and loose over one shoulder. It was sensual and sensory, a high-glam take on holiday style.

Latex is a regular fixture in the Kylie Cosmetics’s founder’s wardrobe: a Poster Girl gown in a similar shade of tomato red inspired Jenner to collaborate with the brand for a latex collection from her brand Khy. For the decade anniversary of her beauty brand, Jenner channeled her King Kylie era and shimmied into a bubblegum pink latex dress with a matching wig. When she’s not in latex, it’s PVC mini-dresses and shiny, sexy leather jackets and low-slung pants. (And you know what, latex is a pretty smart choice in the cooler months—the non-porous fabric keeps you warm!)

A bold pop of color is also a total Kylie calling card, and one she employs pretty often. Last time we saw Jenner, she was walking the red carpet with her boyfriend Timothée Chalamet at the Los Angeles premiere of his movie Marty Supreme, as a total tangerine dream love story. Both Jenner and Chalamet wore custom Chrome Hearts in a shade of ping pong ball orange (couples style meets method dressing), with Jenner’s gown featuring cut-away sides and a deep, plunging back.

What’s next for Kylie Jenner this party season? Maybe some Christmas tree green, or an angelic silver?
