Last night, the fashion and design set followed Amy Astley to Spring Place, a recently opened members-only social club and workspace in Tribeca, to fete the newly minted Architectural Digest editor in chief and toast her first September Style issue for the title. Astley posed for pics upon arrival with Marc Jacobs—whose Manhattan townhouse graces the cover—and his Insta famous bull terrier, Neville Jacobs (190,000 followers and counting!). Guests took in the stunning views at sunset and grazed on passed hors d’oeuvres while flipping through the very talked-about issue, which in addition to Jacobs’s home and dog, features Giovanna Battaglia-Engelbert, Amanda Brooks, and Tomas Maier, just to name a few. The party’s well turned-out guest list was just as chic with Joseph Altuzarra, Tommy and Dee Hilfiger, John Currin and Rachel Feinstein, Jill and Harry Kargman, and Aerin Lauder all in attendance.
