Ever wanted to know what Dakota Johnson is really like? You’re in luck, because the Splitsville and Materialists leading lady—and Vogue Germany November cover star—is also the subject of the latest installment of Vogue’s new video series Ask Away. Suffice it to say that she does not hold back, musing on everything from her former fondness for low-rise jeans to her new puppy, Tokyo, and whether or not she snores. (“I don’t think so? Only if I eat gluten.”)
As Johnson sips iced coffee on set, she also weighs in on cologne (“I don’t love it…really specific olfactory situation happening for me, especially with men. And women. And everyone”) and admits to spending way too much money on a dog trainer (“a big scam”). Additionally, Johnson spills the tea on which of her onscreen costumes was the most uncomfortable—but you’ll have to watch the video to get that information for yourself.
Johnson’s not above serving up a piping-hot dad joke as she walks to set, either (“What do you call a deer with no eyes? No-eye deer”…get it?), nor divulging her go-to In-N-Out order of a double-double, animal-style (respect).
