This is an effect that can be sported all over the face as a monochromatic look—tinting the eyes, lips, and cheeks with a single hue—perhaps in the same multipurpose shade, or in a variety deep berry finishes.
Rich, Berry Lips
The easiest way to play with berry makeup is to do so by tinting the lips in rich grape and raspberry shades. The goal is to achieve a juicy look, characterized by an imprecise and slightly smudged application, reminiscent of the resulting lip tint after taking a bite of fruit. For this, reach for lip glosses like Rhode’s Peptide Lip Tint or Ilia’s tinted lip balm. For a night out or a more statement lip, however, one might prefer a defined, powerful lipstick by Charlotte Tilbury. Line with a berry lip liner first for precision, then glide the pigment on.

Natural Flush Blush
Berry on the cheeks can resemble a natural, just-blushed redness. The goal is almost to “stain” the skin, so that the color looks very light, for a lit-from-within flush. Single-Tone Eyeshadow
The eyes can get the berry treatment too. Worn as shimmers, mattes, or more satin hues, berry shades are perfect for accentuating brown, green, and blue eyes. And because these rich hues offer a statement on their own, they can be worn as a single eyeshadow and do not need to be perfected with excess shading or shadow layering. Simply sweep on your favorite hue with your finger tips and blend at the crease for blurred, yet vivid color in seconds.
