When some hundred thousand people, including a handful of notable celebrities, take to Palm Springs and Indio, California for a weekend—no doubt with cowboy boots and boho-chic dresses dutifully packed — it can only mean one thing: the arrival of Coachella weekend. This year’s lineup includes Lana Del Rey’s return to the famed festival’s stage after exactly ten years, an unexpected No Doubt reunion, and first-ever Coachella performances from Sabrina Carpenter and Ice Spice. Many celebs, though, come for the festival but stay for the parties but crop up near the grounds, some going well into the next morning.
There’s Revolve Festival, which comes with a lineup of its own but is instead in its only Neon Carnival, where you’re sure to spot stars partying until 4 in the morning and desert bashes from brands such as Celsius that turn out an impressive attendee list. Ahead, here’s a look inside the most exclusive parties of the weekend.
Celsius Hosted A Space-Themed Day Party
The influencer-favorite energy drink brand hosted the weekend’s first major events, snagging a massive estate that had, for the occasion, been decked out with spacey elements (a sizable spaceship figure parked near the entrance, and giant boulders resembling various planets set in the property’s very own private pond) to celebrate its launch of similarly-themed drink flavors. Just across from the stage (the party included T-Pain’s first performance during Coachella weekend, for which the crowd exploded), there was the VIP section where Megan Fox danced while debuting a new light blue ‘do, Halle Bailey (in town to support her sister Chloe Bailey’s performance), was there in a mermaid-esque get up, along with Barry Keoghan, Emma Roberts, Charli D’Amelio, and more.
Sean Paul and Ludacris Brought The 2000s To Revolve Festival
The mega-retailer known to throw perhaps the most coveted bash of the weekend may have down-sized its festival event (this year’s spanned one day versus two, and welcomed a cool 1,000 attendees rather than 3,000), but it was no less grand in the end. It was one to bring out such as Hailey Bieber, Lili Reinhart, Cole Sprouse, Evan, Tyga, and Amelia Hamlin, who joined other partygoers in bopping about from an 818 Tequila bar to grab-and-go gifting stations from brands such as Quay and Havanas, before darting off to a private section that had the perfect view of performances from Y2K-themed lineup including Sean Paul, Ludacris, T-Pain, and the Ying Yang twins. After the daytime fun came Revolve s private party—effectively a giant pizza party hosted with Pizzaslime—which only turned up the star-studded antee, attracting Billie Eilish, Justin Bieber, Jeff Bezos and even Rihanna and A$AP Rocky.
It Was Date Night For Taylor Travis At Neon Carnival
If Hollywood’s golden couple — that is, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce — were to be spotted anywhere on Saturday, it’d, of course, be Neon Carnival, the most coveted festival afterparty, back for its 13th year with the help of Liquid I.V. Levi’s and PATRÓN EL ALTO. The couple took to dancing together backstage to an Anderson.Paak (A.K.A. DJ Pee.Wee-led set), joined at one point by Ice Spice, who shouted out Swift earlier during her Coachella performance. Kesha hung with Paris Hilton for the evening, Leonardo DiCaprio showed up to the party (he famously attends Neon Carnival almost ritually), and The Weekend, J. Balvin, and Jon Batiste were among the others who were there to enjoy the ground’s massive Ferris wheel, immersive photo destinations and a surprise Busta Rhymes performance.
