By far the buzziest menswear show of the season was Pharrell Williams’s debut collection as creative director of menswear at Louis Vuitton. The spring 2024 assortment saw plenty of A-list stars come out in support of the show, with celebrities such as Zendaya, Rihanna and A$AP Rocky, Jared Leto, and Kim Kardashian sitting in the front row, among many others. All eyes were on a particular duo in the VIP section, though—Beyoncé and Jay-Z. It’s not everyday that music royalty attends fashion week.
Beyoncé and Jay-Z did his-and-hers suiting for the stylish affair. Beyoncé took a break from all of the silvery looks she’s been sporting on her Renaissance tour this past month. Instead, she chose a silky yellow ensemble that acted as a more relaxed version of a two-piece suit. It’s like the chicest version of PJs—which she elevated with huge shade sunglasses, which were totally paparazzi-ready. Of course, the star had to carry a Vuitton bag, too. Her chosen style was a monogrammed Coussin bag, complete with a chic chain handle.
Jay-Z, meanwhile, went more traditional with his look. He opted for a sleek brown three-piece suit, worn over top a crisp white shirt. Refined and elegant; a good partner knows when to let the other one shine. Though it’s virtually impossible not to when you’re, you know, with Beyoncé.
