A tight brown waterline for ‘siren eyes’, a smattering of freckles, a ’90s lip: it could only be Billie Eilish. And in a rare enough appearance for the singer on TikTok, she’s shared her full pre-show glam routine—her “everyday tour pre show glam routine or whatever” to be exact.

“Leave me alone I barely know what I’m doing but here’s what works for me [and] what I do before every show on tour,” she captioned the video. Contrary to what you may expect, the “Birds of a Feather” singer doesn’t have a glam team with her on tour. And, she uses a mix of cult favorites, highend buys, and drugstore products. It’s a look that’s remained her go-to throughout her Hit Me Hard and Soft world tour.

She begins the video with her hair, spraying her bangs and the back of her head with water before blowdrying with her Dyson Supersonic Hair Dryer to “tame the cowlick”. Next she ties it in a ponytail, and clips her bangs back.

Taking a cotton pad, she swipes the Biba de Sousa Micellar Water across her face to cleanse and brighten her skin, and then pats on the brand’s moisturizer—a lightweight, non-greasy product that’s great for acne-prone skin and incorporates squalene, hyaluronic acid, and vitamin C. Eilish is consistent and loyal with her skincare—she repped the LA brand in her 2022 Vogue Beauty Secrets routine. Biba de Sousa is also Eilish’s faciallist, and boasts her brother Finneas, Miley Cyrus and Hailey Bieber as clients too.

Next, she goes to do her recognisable eye makeup. She takes a q-tip and dabs at her waterline, then she takes the Maybelline TattooStudio Gel Pencil in Bold Brown and draws it soft and rough, from her waterline and pulling it out to the sides onto her skin to elongate her eyes and create an almond shape. It doesn’t have to be perfect, she says, as she’ll come back to it. “Trust the process plz”. Then she goes in with her Makeup by Mario: The Neutrals palette (and she uses the medium brown shade “MN10”), taking the similarly brown shade and subtly smoking it out. She returns to the micellar water with a q-tip to clean up and sharpen her lines. The soft and rich colors make her blue eyes pop.

Next, her face base. She takes the NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer, and dabs at small blemishes, patting it in with a small cushioned sponge, before setting it all with a Laura Mercier powder. To bring out her freckles, she uses Revlon’s Semi Permanent Brow Ink, dotting the nib across the bridge of her nose and cheeks to recall the freckly visage of her childhood (throwback reference pic included in her TikTok). Then blush: she goes for Milk Makeup’s viral Cooling Water Jelly Tint Lip + Cheek Blush Stain (we think it’s the ‘Poppy Pink’ hue) with a soft bristled brush. MERIT makes another appearance for the Day Glow Dewy Highlighting Balm in Cava, dabbed on the highest points of her cheeks and the bridge of her nose.

For Eilish’s brows, she selects MERIT’s Brow 1980 Volumizing Tinted Eyebrow Pomade and Got 2b Glued Brow Edge Gel. To finish her eyes, she curls her eyelashes and then coats her upper and lower lashes in MERIT’s Clean Lash Lengthening Tubing Mascara.

Eilish taps into a particularly viral lip trend with her lip combo. She takes the Sacheu Peel Off Lip Liner Stay-n and applies it to her lips, lets it set, and peels it off to reveal a subtle (and very satisfying) lip stain, going over it with the OneLiner Lip Liner from Tower28 in the pinky taupe shade Work of Art.

Though the singer has ended the North American leg of her tour with five sold-out shows in her Los Angeles hometown, this is a routine that’s sure to stand the test of time—or at least until Europe 2025.
