Timothée Chalamet, America’s It boy, and his costar Armie Hammer have been on a bromance world tour promoting Call Me by Your Name—they were even twinning in Calvin Klein at the film’s premiere. It wound down last night in the most adorable and serendipitous way possible: On Tuesday night in Crema, Italy, where the movie was filmed, Chalamet and Hammer, with director Luca Guadagnino, danced with fans in the streets. Vulture has the story from Hammer’s Instagram and recently revived Twitter feed, on which he chronicled the craziness. Fans were in shock when Hammer, Chalamet, and Guadagnino jumped out of a car to dance to “Love My Way” by the Psychedelic Furs.
It started when the CMBYN crew attended a less-than-sold-out screening in Crema, near Milan, the gorgeous town where the movie was filmed. Hammer tweeted a photo showing an empty theater:

Later that afternoon, apparently unimpressed with the quiet screening, he challenged CMBYN fans to meet him in the centro, the town square where some of the film’s most important scenes went down, at midnight:

The Italian fans of Call Me by Your Name did not disappoint, and Hammer, Chalamet, and Guadagnino gave them the time of their lives when they showed up and danced, recreating one of the film’s most beloved scenes:

Hammer thanked fans on Twitter and quickly got back to post photos of himself in his world-traveling tracksuit. Chalamet posted a photo of a very tired Guadagnino resting his gams after a long night of ’80s dancing in the square. And all’s well that ends well:
