Before Eva Longoria walks Vogue through her skincare and makeup routine, she issues a warning: “It may be a lot for some of you guys, because I’m Latina,” she laughs. “I wear a full face of makeup every day.” This includes a set of lashes for the pickup line—today, at least. “They have chosen to do this video before I’m picking my son up from school,” she deadpans. “I am gonna show up as the hottest mom out there. I’m gonna be like ‘bam! Hey! What’s his homework?’ ”

But first, hyaluronic acid. (After all, she “taught the world how to say [it.]”) After longtime L Oréal brand ambassador pats the plumping serum into her skin, she follows it up with Augustinus Bader’s face oil and Rich Cream. With her skin “nice and juicy,” the Texas native uses Facify’s Beauty Wand to contour her cheeks and spur on lymphatic drainage. She preps her under-eyes with a second round of the L Oréal serum and adds in the Augustinus Bader masks, then gets a spiritual tune-up that smells divine.

Rubbing jasmine essential oil over her heart in a clockwise direction, Longoria sets the intention to “be the light” for everyone she encounters that day. Fittingly, her next step is to make her complexion gleam with L’Oreal’s Lumi Glotion. Longoria’s glow gets a boost from Makeup by Mario’s creamy bronzer, which she applies to the outside of her face for a “snatched” effect. She dots the Soft Pop Plumping Blush across the bridge of her nose for a “sunburnt look,” and adds more cheek color with a blush that’s called Hot Mama (but of course).

The eyes come next: After patting her lids with a concealer base, Longoria picks up her “jam” for daily eyeshadow: Tarte’s In Bloom palette. Its shades range from cream to bronzey nude and aubergine, but the producer likes to “go super light” on her lids. Indeed, she saves the drama for her lashes.

While dotting her lash line with Victoria Beckham’s Satin Kajal liner, Longoria explains why a lash-extension kit puts a sparkle in her eye. “You can do mascara and be done, or you can do lashes,” she says, clearly leaning toward the latter. “Life is more fun with lashes.”

Before blowing a kiss for her parting shot, the activist lines her lips with Victoria Beckham’s Lip Definer and fills them in with two shades of L’Oreal’s Color Riche lipsticks and a dab of Fenty gloss. “I have to go pick up my son, looking fly,” she jokes. “All the moms are gonna be jealous.”
