Of the handful of trends we saw walk the Vogue World: New York runway, fall dresses were a standout in every one. Be it evening-ready metallic foil-like gowns, retro polka-dot midis, or long-sleeve patchwork frocks—the epitome of autumnal—there was no shortage of shopping inspiration.
Boots grounded almost all the dresses, from ’50s- and ’60s-inspired to shimmering mini styles. The styling proved that a boot-and-dress combo will always be a fail-safe fall-outfit formula. Even gold paillette gowns were juxtaposed with stompy black lace-up platforms.
