My favorite moment of this fashion show season happened at Gypsy Sport when designer Rio Uribe prefaced his collection with an earnest and intelligent plea for understanding of the world’s indigent people. It explained the aesthetic of the collection but also his compassionate and conscious worldview, refined and deepened by his travels this year. It was inspiring and correct, as were his designs.
