With Rapunzel Hair Extensions, Georgia May Jagger Is the Spitting Image of Her Mother, Jerry Hall

There are good genes, and then there are Georgia May Jagger s good genes. The 27-year-old British model hit the DNA lottery not only with her father, Rolling Stones frontman Mick s pillowy pout and chiseled bone structure, but also her mother Jerry Hall s statuesque frame, bright blonde hair, and natural-born charisma in front of a photographer s lens.

Oftentimes it s hard to tell if Jagger looks more like her supermodel mom or rock star dad, but when she shared a snap of herself on the set of a Miu Miu shoot today, she was undeniably the spitting image of Hall. This, due in no small part to the Rapunzel-rivaling platinum extensions that had been applied to her sleek, high ponytail.

Further emphasizing their striking similarities, Jagger also played with her hip-grazing tresses the way Hall often did in iconic portraits lensed by Helmut Newton, Irving Penn, and Antonio Lopez; optimizing her carved features and lithe physique by running one hand through her mermaid strands and tilting her chin upwards to smoldering effect.

A known hair chameleon—she’s whipped through a lineup of artificial shades such as shocking fuchsia and pastel peach, thanks to the handiwork of Bleach London hair colorist Alex Brownsell—Jagger s spin with an interminable blanched mane is likely to be short-lived. But since she seems right at home in extra-long lengths that recall those of Hall, it s unlikely to be the last time Jagger embraces hair that hits below the waist.
