Viewers nationwide tuned into the 80th annual Golden Globes televised awards ceremony live-streamed from The Beverly Hilton Hotel. Oppenheimer won Best Picture, Timothée Chalamet canoodled with Kylie Jenner, tomato red dominated the red carpet, everyone (everyone) was taking selfies with Taylor Swift, and host Jo Koy’s monologue felt like he had had just ten days to prepare—he did. That’s the highlights reel of the 2024 Golden Globes, but after the awards, come the many after-parties.
Consider the Globes a pre-party because it’s at the following events where the fun is really had. This year, Netflix, Moët Chandon, and Michael Braun were among some of the after-party hosts. For a highlights reel of the after-hours goings-on, see inside all the best Golden Globes after-parties.
At Billboard s After-Party, Cillian Murphy, Jeremy Allen White, and Lily Gladstone Celebrated Their Wins
Both silver and gold screen stars turned up in droves to toast the Golden Globes at Billboard s after-party, conveniently located in the exact location as the awards themselves: The Beverly Hilton—a fête so fun that even the illustrious and illusive Oppenheimer leading man (and this year s Best Actor in a Drama winner) Cillian Murphy appeared. Inside the party, Golden Globes victors and co-stars Jeremy Allen White and Ayo Edebiri were spotted toasting to their latest well-deserved accolade. Under the glistening stringed canopy lights, victors Lily Gladstone (who made history, becoming the first Indigenous woman in Golden Globes history to win the award for best actress in a drama) and Billie Eilish greeted one another with a warm embrace, sharing a moment of deep mutual admiration. Party-goers danced into the early morning, singing along to songs spun behind an aptly golden DJ Booth and sipping on specialty cocktails provided by Remy Martin and Heineken.
Billie Eilish, Barry Keoghan, and Charles Melton Feted at Netflix’s Golden Globe After-Party
With Maestro, BEEF, May December, The Crown, and The Diplomat all nominated for Globes, Netflix had much to celebrate. Winners Elizabeth Debicki and Billie Eilish were among the celebs who turned up at Spago, Wolfgang Puck’s see-and-be-seen Hollywood eatery institution, for an after-party. For many, this was stop one of the night. May December’s Julianne Moore arrived after changing out of her Bottega Veneta red gown into a coolly understated smoking blazer. Billie Eilish could be seen snapping selfies with Andrew Scott and Rustin’s Colman Domingo. Netflix’s CEO Ted Sarandos was spotted with Barry Keoghan. And Globes host Jo Koy was present and accounted for—and likely very much in need of a drink after his night!
A-List Stars Came Out for Michael Braun s Post-Golden Globes House Party
There’s no house party quite like a Michael Braun house party—think endlessly flowing specialty cocktails while running into any award-winning actor imaginable, specifically the likes of Leonardo DiCaprio, Andrew Scott, and Glenn Powell. Amidst the revelry, friendly faces flanked winners Billie Eilish and Sucession s Kiernan Culken with a sea of warm welcomes and congratulations. On the dance floor, Jeremy O. Harris and Natasha Lyone danced to early 2000s and modern-day hits alike. Outside at the fire pit, Barbie actor Hari Neff chatted animatedly with fellow attendees. Meanwhile, couple Alba Baptista and Chris Evans mingled in the den. Also spotted amidst party-goers were Fanning sisters Elle and Dakota in stunningly sparkling ensembles. Inside the soirée, party-goers mingled in Braunn s decadently decorated Hollywood home and picked from a seemingly limitless selection of delicious specialty cocktails created by LALO Spirits and The Tequila Boy.
Party-Goers Toasted the Globes with Moët Chandon
Just next door to The Beverly Hilton, home of the Golden Globes, one of the night’s first after-parties awaited. Hosted at the Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills, Moët Chandon had Champagne at the ready for its guests, which included Cailee Spaeny, Tanerélle, and Andra Day. Patry-goers plucked golden Champagne glasses and chatted about their nights before plotting their next move. With Champagne as fuel, they were ready.
Inside UTA’s Beverly Hills Bash
At Italian restaurant La Dolce Vita, United Talented Agency celebrated their client s plentiful list of Golden Globes honors with a private bash in Beverly Hills. The after-party was attended by winners Paul Giamatti (The Holdovers), Matthew Macfadyen (Succession), and Justine Treit (Anatomy of a Fall). Also in attendance were nominees Greta Gerwig and Noah Baumbach (Barbie), Sandra Hüller (Anatomy of a Fall), Will Ferrell (May December), Tony McNamara (Poor Things), Phil Lord (Spider-Man: Across the Universe), Chris Miller (Spider-Man: Across the Universe), Andrew Wyatt (Barbie), and many others.
Vanity Fair and Amazon MGM Studios Hosted a Pre-Party
Picture the biggest stars bumping shoulders at Sunset Boulevard’s most intimately-sized yet highly coveted lounge (that would be the Bar Marmont), and you have Vanity Fair and Amazon MGM Studio’s Saturday night awards season kick-off party. Inside, Abbot Elementary’s Quinta Brunson celebrated her Golden Globe’s Best Performance nomination while catching up with Vanity Fair’s Radhika Jones, and Rosamund Pike, who wore a whimsical Molly Goddard dress that embodied her enigmatic (and problematic) Saltburn character. Colman Domingo, nominated for Best Actor in Rustin got dressed in Amiri for the night, Heidi Klum, in an embellished Monique Lhuillier gown, arrived with her daughter Leni after departing the Heart of Elysium Gala happening across town, and a number of others, including Jared Leto and Reese Witherspoon, floated about before calling it quits for the night.
