It might be the halfway mark of New York Fashion Week, but the party set is just getting started. After Baja East’s Minions-themed bash and Alexander Wang’s McDonald’s-laden fete, Sunday night—typically reserved for rest—was just as thrilling. Prabal Gurung’s postshow dinner, cohosted by model Hailey Baldwin, celebrated the designer’s latest runway collection but also the launch of his new athleisurewear label, Prabal Gurung Sport with Bandier. Taking in the setting at the elegant Clocktower in the New York Edition Hotel was a gaggle of models including Ashley Graham, social media sensation Eva Chen, and bright young things Indre Rockefeller and Sarah Hoover.
After sliders and pigs in a blanket washed down with Absolut Elyx cocktails, which were served in adorable copper cups, it was time for everyone to move into the dining room for a sumptuous feast of yellowtail, salmon, and lamb. But an equal punctuation to the meal was a performance from crooner Diana Gordon, who got everyone out of their seats well into the late hours of the evening.
