The beauty looks at Paris Haute Couture week have been as chic, fantastical, and ultra-feminine as you would expect: Rachel Sennott’s hair piled Marie Antoinette high, Tali Lennox’s knee-length plaits, lashings of gothic red lips, and bobs, bobs, and…More bobs. But it’s Jennie Kim’s manicures that take the beauty crown at Couture this year.

The Blackpink singer—who is ramping up her appearances as she nears the release of her debut album, Ruby, in March—brought her best claws to Couture. Like her fellow bandmates, she often looks to nail artist Park Eunkyung (AKA @Unistella) for each imaginative new set: Eunkyung is a deft hand at anime-inspired decals, sculptural designs, and wet-look textures on Jennie, Jisoo, Rosé, and Lisa for their day-to-days, album promo runs, magazine covers, and fashion campaigns.

At yesterday’s Ludovic de Saint Sernin and Jean Paul Gaultier spring summer 2025 show, Jennie wore a figure-hugging, plunging beige dress, studded with crystal embellishments. While her base nails were bare, the tips were extended into super long and sharp talons made to look like falling water droplets. The rest of her beauty was pared back, with a chic and wavy half-up half-down hairdo and extra highlight.

For the Chanel show on Tuesday, Jennie went whimsy in a powder blue feathered cape and peakaboo sheer bra that matched her sweet, jelly-sheer blue mani, which darkened at the tips to retain some of Jenni’s edge. As she likes, she stuck with her elegant, long and pointed almond shape. The pastel and feminine look reflected the ethereal and pale-toned runway moments.

Jennie has long been a lover of experimental nails: From switching up a classic French manicure by studding each nail with giant pearls, to hopscotching nail shapes (Though she favors almond, she’s not averse to a blocky square end), and every work of art and armor-like set in her latest “ZEN” music video. We’ll be keeping an eye on what Unistella the nail architect serves up for Jennie next.
