Last night the Crosby Street Hotel’s screening room experienced a religious experience as Jude Law, the star of HBO’s new series The Young Pope took to the stage. Joined by creator and director Paolo Sorrentino, the Cinema Society screening of the first two episodes had the audience, which included Martha Stewart, Kathleen Turner, and Alba and Francesco Clemente, enthralled. But after the transcendent viewing, it was time to sin, and stars including Cuba Gooding, Jr., Gina Gershon, and Jill Kargman migrated over to Lower East Side haute boîte Café Medi for some light bites, savory cocktails, and great conversation.
