Tonight on the red carpet, the model wore a side-part bouffant hairstyle reminiscent of her iconic mother, Cindy Crawford. In the 1990s, the supermodel often wore a similarly voluminous, 1960s siren-esque style while out on the town or the catwalk.
The ’90s statement blowout has achieved a cult-like status and a subsequent comeback of late. “Often side-parted with lots of natural texture, Crawford’s signature look has since enjoyed a renaissance on TikTok, with users posting modern takes on the classic ’90s blowout,” Vogue reported earlier this year. “Not to mention the fact that big hair has made a big comeback of late–see Miley Cyrus’s larger-than-life mane at the Grammys, and the clouds of backcombed hair on the models at Marc Jacobs’s recent fall 2024 show.”
Against her column white Prada gown with paillette detailing, Gerber’s voluminous locks provided a simple yet stunning beauty look on the red carpet—which only highlighted her pink diamond oval earrings and matching diamond necklace.
