Kate Moss made her annual pilgrimage to Paris today to take in Kim Jones’s last menswear collection for Louis Vuitton (it s tomorrow). And a day after her 44th birthday, the iconic model made waves in a layered ensemble befitting the French capital’s fashionable reputation. Moss often covers up in a mishmash of upscale bohemian wares from an Hermès horse blanket to statement coats in a myriad of animal prints. But today’s ensemble, comprised of vintage motifs mixed with low-key materials, seemed to take its cues from the Marais.
Moss topped her look with a simple army green jacket which was livened up with a multicolor paisley print scarf. (That pattern also popped up today in Victoria Beckham s Paris wardrobe.) An oversize teal scarf provided luxurious volume. Skinny, faded Mother blue jeans paired with heeled booties created a leg-lengthening effect while a wide-brim hat added that extra inch of cool-girl style.
