Last night, at the Hollywood Foreign Press Association’s Grants Banquet, Washington handed out honors to PEN America for their work protecting press freedoms, while also displaying her adventurous personal style in a sequined jumpsuit by Elie Saab.
Detailed with two gold-buckled leather belts, Washington’s all-black ensemble had a slinky, disco-inspired flair. Though it would have seemed right at home at Studio 54, the jumpsuit—with its plunging neckline, long sleeves, and glossy sequins—made for a modern eveningwear choice.
