Beauty mogul Kylie Jenner’s recent Dolce Gabbana TikTok diary had it all: a leopard print! Bedazzled crosses! More leopard! Sexy suiting! And wait a second—that lip product she’s using doesn’t look like it’s from Kylie Cosmetics….
Mysterious lip liners make four different appearances during the 2-minute 27-second video, including for an application touch-up done mid elevator ride by Jenner herself.
At first glance, the lip pencils appear to be the Make Up for Ever Artist Color Pencil Brow, Eye Lip Liner, which comes in wood and has the shade lacquered at the end. (It is, I must admit, a great product; the Up Down Tan is my go-to for a nude lip liner.) We can tell it’s not from Kylie Cosmetics because that brand’s only current liner offering comes in its signature baby pink with a holographic label.
However, a few seconds later in the video, we get a close-up on the assortment of products in Jenner’s hand, and…it’s revealed that the item just doesn’t match Make Up for Ever’s. In fact, it’s called Precision Pout Lip Liner in shade Lure—which is literally nowhere to be found on the internet.
Which brings us to ask—what brand even is this? Was this entire (cute!) video actually a teaser for the liners, while looking like a promo for Jenner’s appearance at the D&G show?
Inquiring minds, including an entire thread on Reddit, would like to know.
