Kylie Jenner has firmly signed herself up for the Marty Supreme campaign trail, from repping the movie merch to going full ping-pong-ball-orange and cheering her boyfriend of three years, Timothée Chalamet, on from the audience. Last night, at the 2026 Critics Choice Awards in Santa Monica, Jenner watched on teary-eyed as Chalamet picked up the first major statue of the season—herself dressed in top-tier vintage.
While Kylie once again skipped the red carpet (she gave it a miss at the weekend’s Palm Springs International Film Festival, too, though she still managed to turn out a Marty Supreme method dressing-y moment), she sat with Chalamet and the rest of the movie crew, including director Josh Safdie and actor Odessa A’zion. For the occasion, Jenner tapped Los Angeles vintage haven to the stars Tab Vintage to purchase a fall winter 1996 Gianni Versace Couture gown.
The black dress kept to the signature, body-hugging silhouette Jenner has come to love, with shimmering black sequin mesh that looked almost snake-like, sheer embroidered side-paneling, and delicate straps criss-crossing over the low back. The rest of her glam was also tried-and-true, with a baby pink manicure and a bouncy blowout swept into a side part.
Tab Vintage has been Hollywood’s go-to for rare archival pieces since 2020, when first founded by Alexis Novak. Over the years, Jenner and her sisters have been taken by its special wares—whether Kourtney Kardashian in Thierry Mugler or Kendall Jenner in Dolce Gabbana from spring 2001. (Bella Hadid, too, has had her Tab moments.) Jenner also picked up a studded bikini from Karl Lagerfeld’s spring 1995 collection for Chanel via T.V. for summer 2024.
Kylie Jenner is at her best in her vintage era, often opting for Gianni-era Versace runway moments, major pieces from the Thierry Mugler archives, and rare Comme des Garçon. For one of her first major awards show appearances with Chalamet, at the 2025 Golden Globes, Jenner was clad in a vintage silver chainmail Atelier Versace dress from the spring 1999 collection, similar to one worn by Elizabeth Hurley on the ’90s awards-show circuit with then-boyfriend Hugh Grant. (Jenner’s was sourced by The Real List.)
At Sunday’s Critics Choice Awards, Jenner was once again styled by duo Mackenzie Grandquist and Alexandra Rose Grandquist. Tailor Rae Moore, meanwhile—who often works with Sabrina Carpenter—was on hand for what was a detailed, painstaking restoration project to get the Versace gown ready.
“We acquired it from someone who didn t know how to fix it. The chainmail was wrecked and the lace had been torn in a few places,” Novak shared with Vogue. “We called on the amazing tailor Rae Moore to help us carefully restore the lace (by hand) and Anne Wold to relink the tiny chainmail tears. It turned out incredible. We love working with [Jenner’s] entire team!”
Chalamet, for his part, picked up his best actor award wearing a navy pinstripe suit and floral tie, recalling the nostalgic aesthetic of his character Marty Mauser. During his acceptance speech, he addressed Jenner as “my partner of three years.”
“Thank you for our foundation. I love you. I couldn’t do this without you. Thank you from the bottom of my heart,” he said, with the camera panning to Jenner to see her mouth “I love you.” More gooey-eyed acceptance speeches and more major vintage moments to come!
